RE/MAX New Zealand Recognises Excellence and Longevity in the Real Estate Industry

By Hemant Patel

Auckland, New Zealand – RE/MAX New Zealand, a leading real estate franchise network, celebrated its 6-Monthly Awards this July at the RE/MAX New Zealand head office. Over the past six months, our agents and Broker Owners have shown remarkable resilience, dedication, and outstanding achievements. Despite the challenges faced by the real estate industry over the past 18 months, RE/MAX New Zealand has demonstrated exceptional strength and unity, supported by the global RE/MAX training system.

Chairperson of the Board for RE/MAX New Zealand, Don Ha, praised the unwavering commitment and resilience exhibited by RE/MAX agents and Broker Owners in navigating the complexities of the market. The support and guidance provided by the global RE/MAX training system have empowered the RE/MAX network to withstand the challenges and deliver exceptional service to clients.

CEO of RE/MAX New Zealand, Mala Maharaj, congratulated all the winners and Broker-Owners across various categories. “Thanks to the commitment of our RE/MAX Broker-Owners and agents, we continue to make significant strides. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients and salespeople for their unwavering dedication and outstanding contributions to the success of RE/MAX New Zealand."

This year, special recognition was given to RE/MAX Team Realty in New Plymouth - Broker Owners, Garry and Maree Malcolm, for their 20 years of dedication, contribution, and service to RE/MAX. “Garry’s role in the journey of RE/MAX in New Zealand has been invaluable. His support to fellow Broker-Owners highlights his ongoing commitment to sharing his extensive knowledge and dedication with the entire RE/MAX community.

A strategic sponsorship move, with the Hurricanes and Hurricanes Poua Rugby franchise, has further enhanced RE/MAX New Zealand's brand visibility and market impact. This initiative, spearheaded by Don Ha, has garnered widespread media attention and attracted a wave of new agents to the network. Don Ha said, “With the sponsorship of the Hurricanes rugby teams, RE/MAX has been able to support the athletes with 'Life After Sport' through property investment, and help the fans and supporters get onto the property ladder."

As RE/MAX New Zealand continues its legacy of excellence and innovation in the real estate industry, the network remains focused on providing superior service and achieving exceptional outcomes for its clients. The dedication and camaraderie within the RE/MAX network exemplify a shared commitment to growth, success, and fostering lasting relationships.

Looking ahead to the next 12 months, RE/MAX New Zealand remains dedicated to providing exceptional service and delivering superior outcomes for its clients and partners. “With a shared vision of growth and success, our company is poised to achieve even greater milestones in the year. We look forward to the growth of our salespeople, Broker Owners, and our brand.”
